The following are those programs in a bit of detail
Entrepreneur Immigration:
In order to invest and run a valid business in BC, you need to fulfill certain requirements
- Personal Requirements:
- Networth: A net worth of $600,000CAD or more, legally earned
- Experience: Demonstrate business and/or management experience
- Eligibility: Have or be eligible for legal immigration status in Canada
- Business, job and investment requirements:
- Business: Establish an eligible business or purchase and improve an existing one
- Investment: Make an eligible personal investment of at least $200,000CAD
- Job Creation: Create at least one new full-time job for a Canadian or PR

Entrepreneur Program
The Province’s Entrepreneur program has the following criteria:
- Age: You should be at least 21 years of age or older
- Intent: You want to settle in Nova Scotia
- Networth: You have a net worth of at least $600,000 CAD
- Investment: You are able to invest $150,000 CAD
- Experience: You have at least 3 years’ experience actively managing and owning a business (1/3 ownership minimum), or more than 5 years in a business mgt. role
- Language Efficiency: CLB5 or higher
If you have the aobve criteria, you will complete the online Expression of Interest & receive an ITA from Nova Scotia Office of Immigration
Entrepreneurial Stream:
This program is for experienced business owners and senior managers who want to live permanently in New Brunswick and can fulfill the following criteria:
- Age: 22 – 55 Years
- Language: At least CLB5
- Education: At least 2-year post-secondary education
- Networth: $600,000 CAD (300,000 liquid and unencumbered funds)
- Business Ownership: 100% OR 5 Years in the last 5 years in a Senior Business management role
- Investment: Min. 250,000CAD
Post Graduate Entrepreneurial Stream:
This program is for recent foreign graduates from a recognized university in New Brunswick and can fulfill the following criteria:
- Age: 22 – 40 years
- Language: At least CLB7 or higher
- Education: At least 2-year post-secondary education (15 hours of class per week)
- Residence: Resided in NB during the academic program
- Business Onwership: 100% (owned and operated a business in NB for at least one full year
- Status: Have a valid post-graduation work permit
- Intent: Demonstrate their intent and ability to settle in NB

Business Investors:
Individuals wishing to immigrate to Manitoba, have two pathways to consider as business investors:
- Entrepreneur pathway
- Farm Investor pathway
In order to qualify for either of the above pathways, you should be able to meet the following minimum criteria:
- Entrepreneur pathway
- Networth: a verifiable 350,000CAD
- Investment: A minimum of 100,000 CAD
- Experience: At least 3 years of business experience
- Adaptability Matrix: Score at least 60 in Manitoba’s adaptability matrix, evaluating certain elements (Age, business knowledge, experience, language & other settlement factors)
- Farm Investor pathway: Individuals who have farming experience and wish to immigrate to Manitoba under this pathway, should be able to fulfill the following criteria:
- Networth: a verifiable 350,000CAD
- Research Visit: Conduct a farm research visit.
- Experience: A minimum of 3 years in farm operations
Prince Edward Island currently has some of the most popular investment programs. It is a beautiful place with lots of prospects ahead. Here are some of the business streams available and the main criteria associated with each
Immigration as an Entrepreneur:
This includes several sub-streams as follows:
100% Ownership Stream: If you are a foreign national with extensive management or business-ownership experience and would like to own a business in PEI (100% ownership)
- Net worth: $600,000 CAN
- Investment: $200,000 CAN
- Experience: At least 3 years of experience running a successful business or a high management level experience with ability to make business decisions
Partial Ownership Stream: If you are a foreign national with extensive management or business-ownership experience and would like to invest partially in a PEI business:
- Net worth: $600,000 CAN
- Investment: $200,000 CAN
- Experience: At least 3 years of experience running a successful business or a high management level experience with ability to make business decisions
Work Permit Stream: This stream is for foreign nationals with extensive management or business-ownership experience who would like to move to PEI on a temporary basis to start their business, and eventually become a permanent resident.
- Net worth: $600,000 CAN
- Investment: $200,000 CAN
Entrepreneur Category:
Start, obtain or partner in a business in Saskatchewan and be actively involved in managing it while residing in Saskatchewan.
- Eligibility: Meet eligibility criteria
- Net worth: $500,000 CAD
- Investment: Either $300,000 CAD in Regina and Saskatchewan OR $200,000 CAD in all other Saskatchewan communities
Farm Category:
- Net worth: $500,000 CAD
- Investment: $75,000 CAD
- Province Visit: Mandatory visit to Saskatchewan
- Experience: Demonstrate Farm operation knowledge and experience
Business Stream:
This stream is for foreign nationals who have the ability to establish or purchase an existing business. Primary selection is usually on demonstrated ability to create jobs. There are steps involved for nomination to this stream as follows:
- Assessment: Self-Assessment, Initial Investigation, followed by further investigations and face-to-face interviews
- Initiation: Initiating the application and pre-screening process
- Application: Submitting application, its review and approval/Business Performance Agreement
- Business Development: Developing the actual business
- Nomination: Getting a nomination from the province
- Net worth: $500,000 CAN
- Investment: $250,000 CAN
- Ownership: At least 33%
Business Nominee Program:
A business nominee to Yukon must fulfill the following criteria:
- Assessment Score: Obtain 65 points or more on the assessment grid
- Education: High school at minimum (higher education if the nature of the business requires him/her to be so)
- Experience: Min. 3 years of entrepreneurial or management experience + Min. 5 years of relevant work experience
- Net worth: $500,000 CAD or higher ($300,000 CAD liquid assets)
- Investment: #300,000 CAD in the first two years
