It is Now Easier to Bring your Parents or Grandparents Over to Canada: Join the Race in the New First Come First Serve System

Are you a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident?  It is Now Easier to Bring your Parents or Grandparents Over to Canada: Join the Race in the New First Come First Serve System

It is difficult to live a life without your parents and grandparents, especially when you know that they would benefit from living in Canada, just as you have. The Canadian government understands this, so to help reunite even more parents and grandparents with their families in Canada, the Minister of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship, announced that the Government of Canada will accept up to 20,000 applications for the sponsorship of parents and grandparents in 2019.

To place this into perspective, this is 4 times the number of applications accepted when the program reopened in 2014!

This means that this is the perfect opportunity for you to sponsor your parents or grandparents and be reunited with some of the most important people in your lives.

How it Will Work?

In 2019, as in previous years, the Interest to Sponsor form will be available online, at the beginning of the year, so eligible potential sponsors can let IRCC know they wish to sponsor their parents and grandparents to come to Canada. However, instead of randomly selecting the sponsors to apply, IRCC will invite them to submit an application to sponsor their parents and grandparents based on the order in which they receive their Interest to Sponsor forms. This process will continue until they reach the 2019 cap of 20, 000 complete applications.

As you can see, this opportunity is extremely TIME SENSITIVE. Learn how to pre-qualify, so you can be ready when invited to apply to sponsor within 90 days. Don’t be late for this race and contact us to start taking advantage of this new process!
